In March, we announced the formation of a joint venture with the Chicago Bar Foundation (the charitable affiliate of the Chicago Bar Association) to provide pro-bono marketing assistance to its member organizations in developing and implementing marketing programs. We are confident that this will be an amazing and rewarding program for both the legal aid organizations and for the marketing professionals of LMA (if you missed the March meeting, visit the Volunteer Opportunities page on our website for more details about this new pro bono opportunity).

We now wish to invite you to our upcoming Kick-Off Reception on Thursday, May 23rd from 5-7 p.m. at Sidley Austin Brown Wood where you can come and meet the executives of the Chicago Bar Foundation organizations, and learn about marketing research done for the Chicago Bar Foundation that details the public's perception of the existence of legal assistance programs and the need for legal assistance for low-income people.

The firm that conducted the research will present their findings and
how it can be incorporated into a legal aid organization's marketing plan.

Then we'll have time to talk informally and learn about the legal aid organizations and their marketing needs during a reception (with drinks and light food). Will you find your ideal match and sign up to be a volunteer?!
